That essentially wraps up the regular season title and makes it REALLY hard to leave us out of the NCAA tournament. I loved the comeback aspect of the win. At halftime it looked like we could end up losing by 20. Guebert came to life and they all turned up the D.

It’s amazing how evenly matched these teams are. In reality they probably both are good enough to be ranked in that 15-20 range.

USD has no right to complain about officiating deciding the game. The Jacks got two phantom calls at the end that kept the Yotes in the game. Neither Larson or Guebert should have gotten whistled. It was good to see that AJ shortened the bench in the second half.

Great win for the Jacks. I did not realize that No22 Lamb for USD is from Onida. AJ should have recruited her, but I suspect this young lady had her sights set on Vermillion. A great athlete as are most of USD roster. This is a quality win.

          Good guys (gals) win.

Jeez, some of you guys are awfully spoiled by our women's team. USD just happens to be really, really, good too.

          Don't overreact.

For the first time ever, the Summit will get two women's teams in. I"m calling it.

AJ did say that Selland’s injury is to her other foot and not the one that has been injured. Doesn’t seem that serious, hopefully.

It's time to shut her down until Sioux Falls.

What a crucial win. You'd have to think this win guarantees both teams make the NCAA tourney. Macy is the best player in the state, but Duffy and Lamb are extremely scary. This is an era of the rivalry that will be talked about for decades to come.

To me the keys to this win were AJ shortening up the bench and stopping the defensive switch on the pick and roll with Sjerven in the 2nd half. Solid come back win that really should guarantee both teams a spot in the NCAA’s.

Assuming USD and SDSU meet in the championship game at the Summit League Tourney, both should be in the NCAA Tourney. Both schools have made the case and the somewhat-objective measures of RPI and ranking will make it hard to exclude either team and let in teams with poorer records, rankings and RPI scores.

Myah had a huge rebound at the very end. Strong!

I know Irwin missed some free throws which at the time were crucial but she had a drive late along the baseline that was huge.

She stripped the ball from Duffy when she was deep in the paint very late in the game too - a critical steal when they were regaining momentum. Her defense and rebounding are a big reason the team is where it is.

Like Lexi was last year. Does good and bad but a reason she is out there.

We were only getting 4 votes and several in front of us for the top 25. I dont mind if they stay ranked honestly so in the summit tourney we can beat a top 25 ranked team twice.

If you get to watch the rerun of this game, you will notice Myah was first to come out in the first quarter with a gimp. USD is playing the most physical ever. If you hear anything about reffing, it is crocodile tears at best and ignorant at worst. #34 Hannah S is a great athlete.
