AJ just posted "It's a great day to be a Jackrabbit". Any guesses?

Hopefully, they will avoid the injury bug.

Three recruits play tonight in the SD Class A second round - should not a Division One signee, by herself, have sufficient "game" to advance her team to the state tournament?

    Just asking for a friend.

MVP AT WAGNER - EMILY FOX

EPJ AT TEA AREA - KATIE VASECKA

SIOUX VALLEY AT FLANDREAU - CLAIRE SHEPARD

Under NCAA rules the Alabamas, Georgias, Michigans, USCs, etc. could drop NCAA football and retain other NCAA sports. They could then form a separate football league.

This NCAA proposal would allow the new football league within the NCAA, while attempting to maintain equity for other sports at those schools. It may or may not work. One or two billion dollars goes a long way to support 30 or so college football programs.
NCAA's recent against Tennessee's "NIL inducement" seems an election-year push for Congress to legislate Charlie Baker's vision for re-structure.

Maybe just another step towards suicide by lawsuit.

Recall that U of Minn cut tennis, track, and gymnastics in 2020. The football/TV dollars may not pay for all other sports once a new NCAA evolves. Taking the under on a 10-year shake-out bet, including Power 4/5 WBB.

Betting conference realignment now weeds out the un-willing and the under-funded - and leads to more sport-specific alliances.
The minimum of $30K/athlete would be dwarfed with the amount an Ohio State might provide. They should get Sunday TV time lined up for these teams to play opposite the NFL. The transfer portal has created free agency and the NIL has provided the pay. This is the next step where the athletes may not even need to attend the school they play.

GOOGLE: House vs NCAA for more $-driven legal actions/pressures on the NCAA.

Annnnnnd...., we'll have Timmer another yr (maybe Kallie?) plus two seasoned soph's and experienced upper class men , one a great , great PG to run the show. That looks like a whirlwind of players on the court when they all start gelling together. My, how much our situation can change in the course of just one yr by having a FULL bench instead of a depleted one of great players. Wish we could arrange for the team to go on a foreign trip to get them started early. I don't know if that's a good idea or not, maybe a foreign trip is just a big distraction as I seem to hear less of them happening, or, is it better to stay at home, any thoughts on that?
