I kind of sensed that too, but Midco is not SDSU for SDSU and nobody else, so I can see giving some balance to yesterday's game and I think the Bison fans loved him on Saturday. He was definitely the Bison guy on Saturday, but if you are a CEO for Midco, you got to keep everyone happy.
I just hope and pray that Seekamp does not find a loophole to play another season. She should be trying out for the pros this year.

At one point in the game Hemiller got called for a reaching in foul, Newitt commented "well, that could have been called many times in this game as physical as it's been played,it's one of those calls that can go either way" or something like that.I sat there thinking,...yea....what's your point, are you saying the ref's are doing a bad job, picking on Hemiller,it shouldn't have been called....what??? I thought that was a very odd comment from him,he said nothing more, just that.It was very close to being a negative reaction to the call, but he stopped just short or thought better of it.

If I am not mistaken Brad was a grad assistant at USD and also full assistant at USF. He seems to Hate State just a bit although he got his undergrad at Kansas State. You think he knew the meaning of Come Bossy. They do milk cows in Kansas. Just joking, the guy is a wiz at physics, and nothing to sneeze at. Between Tyler and Tim Neiman, they might be able to bring him around.

In the end its just 1 loss and shouldn't have any major impact on the rest of the season. Need to win 3 games in S Falls in March. That's it.
A one woman team with just enough from the other four and the toughest defense they've played all year.

It was really a bothersome defense because it looked like we couldn't pass to anyone,we looked confused a little, and stood around because there was no where to go,we became stagnant. It looked packed in a little and we weren't hitting the three's well enough. We went toe to toe regardless and it was any ones game till SeeKamps dagger 3 pt shot at the very end with enough time to tie it left on the clock. The women can hold their heads high as far as I'm concerned,we'll get 'em next time.

It's easy to play defense when the other team just stands up top dribbling...just sayin'.

I'm hoping they'll get it all figured out soon.

The thing that concerns me is that the turnovers were not a result of people getting double teamed or trapped, but were mostly from straight-up one on one defense and making bad or lazy passes. Hopefully this will serve as a wake-up call, as there is plenty of time to get things back on track.

AJ basically said it wasn't a very good offensive game, and Macy said they were afraid of making a TO and didn't play relaxed.Guess that's what can happen in a 'rivalry" situation when you let those type thoughts creep into your head.No rivalry game next game out ,just a good ole conference foe.We should see a lot better ball and player movement.

Can't get open if you don't move, unless they forget about you. They weren't allowing dribble penetration at all,it always got kicked back out.The paint was in lock down and all the players were out, except one post player, and they weren't going to let her score for sure.

In the postgame AJ seemed very frustrated with Keri Young and hard to blame him. 3-10 shooting and some of those shots were not even close and she got pulled several times for bad turnovers (5) in 29 minutes. Boever again 4 tournovers in just 18 minutes. Way too many for a 5th or 6th year senior. Those two veterans with 18 of the 19 turnovers. Sydney Palmer just does not look like someone even close to ready to contribute. Even with all the turnovers that game was lost in the second half on the offensive boards.

Agree,we give back way too many hard fought leads too easily. All a team has to do is increase their intensity a little, and they get right back in the game.
I want to stay positive and just think this little set back is just a little bump in the road, and will soon be forgotten after we get a few wins.

There's no question Sydney Palmer was not a factor, but I think we need to give her a break. Ellie had to sit on the bench because of fouls, and the only substitude we had for her at the 4 spot was Palmer. As a freshman, down the bench a bit, she hasn't seen many minutes, and this game is one heck of a game for somebody to have to jump into the middle of the tension that prevailed before a huge crowd. I'm not sure how good she will be, but we need more time to find out. I can say that I believe when Tonia Wade becomes eligible next year, we will have very strong 4 player coming aboard to help out.

I would have liked to see Jessica M. get more time. Ober was Winded, and seemed ineffective at the post. When we went our run at the end of the 1st half Jessica was in for most of the swing in momentum.

Ober had 10 pts, 8 rebs & 8 blocks. That is the exact opposite of ineffective...

                              Thank you for that.
All except the blocks were silent to me.
So I'll amend it to would have liked to see more of Jessica.

I would like to see more of Jessica as well. She needs to get acclimated to the speed of the game. She has been a bit tentative with her play which is slow to react in the flow of the game. She does not lack for energy. If she is practicing the same, the game is just a bit quicker than she is ready.
