The young South Dakota State volleyball team believes it's building toward something - namely a future berth in the NCAA Division I tournament. The problem is that North Dakota State is dominating the present and seems stacked for the future. Like the Jackrabbits, the Bison have only one senior.
The winners of the past two Summit League championships will meet for the first time this season Saturday at Frost Arena.
SDSU (6-9, 5-3) has won four straight matches at home, a streak that pales in comparison to the one the Bison (12-3, 8-0) have built - 27 in a row against conference foes. That's the third longest run in league history. . . . (read more)
