We have finished our non-conference season. It hasn't went how most of us expected, but here we are. We are 5-8 and 1-1 in the conference. We have lost some games we shouldn't have (Cal Poly, ECU, Denver) and maybe one a couple we were outmatched (Wyoming and CMU). We 16 conference games left and 9 of those are at home. We need to go 10-6 to finish above .500 and with 9 games at home and games at SUU, UMKC, and Centenery that is very possible. Unfortunately we play a very good ORU team next who I am certain will have a chip on their shoulder after what happened in last year's Summit League tournament. The team needs to have a moment like our football team had in 2006. I am a hopeless optimist, but what else can one do after what has happened the last 5 years. . . .
