Second half
15:03 remaining, Mayville 48, UND 39 Sioux are being outplayed, plain and simple. Micah Berge's 3-pointer has put the Comets up by nine at the first media timeout. Mayville is winning the battle on the boards, 24-12, resulting in second-chance points. That's something that just shouldn't happen for a D-I team against an NAIA team.
You are correct PJF...didn't mean to sound critical, just trying to provide some analysis that I know both Steve & Tyler can appreciate!
I'm still waiting for the two of them to come up with some kind of Aerosmith album knock off promotional poster (Steve-n-Tyler)
I love being able to turn on a radio or webcast and know it's going to be a quality product from guys that care about what they are doing. SDSU does that and there are schools that don't have that.
totally agree, do not want to sound negative. They are great for sdsu, very good at what they do. Ever listen to the Udot guys? they are just aweful. I could not stand to listen to their homers, i mean announcers.

SDSU game thread. Don't care about UND here.

im glad sdsu isnt losing to smst!
Seems UND has problems with NAIA schools, maybe they should move down to NAIA to be compete. Then again we had our problems against d-2 schools in our transition too.

Count me in as not a fan of the Merriam/Imming combo. Tyler keeps interupting Steve's flow and too often tries to be funny. I think they both do a good job with their own play by play, but don't like them together.
Parts of this game was just painful to watch with defenders opting to grab/push/hack/hip check/murder the offensive player instead of trying to stay in front of them.

There are some awkward moments, but I think all in all we get better play by play and commentary than almost every school in the Summit. If you don't believe me, subscribe to Summit TV. Some of that stuff is truly awful. I think part of the problem could be that Imming has been working solo for so long that he doesn't know when to stop talking to let the color man chip in. TV has also said that Tyler does more prep than him before games, and I think that is saying quite a bit. I'm a fan of the combo, I guess.
