We were doing them for every Jacks scoring during the NDSU football game, it turned into a long night

This is, in short, what SDSU does. It's what they do against cellar dwellers like UMKC, as well as league leaders like NDSU & ORU.

They did but ORU played with confidence down the stretch and came after us

BTW: Hi Low-Rent Bison fans..... happy schadenfreude, and be sure and take some memorable comments back to Bisonville....... when all else fails you can shamefully attack Kai's mom.

P.S. I provided a link to the definition of schadenfreude because if you're trashy enough to come here and make a jackass of yourself, odds are you have no idea what the word means.

                Couple of things:

                1. I would never want Jarvis on any team that I played on!

                2. We played hard to stay in the game, but they out worked us the last 4 minutes!

                3. What if their big man Lewis would ever get called for the HOOK MOVE on the baseline!
He did it over and over.

                4. Two set plays at the end to Palarca (who was rather hot tonight) and Gr. Callahan

                5. Moss sat a lot the last 8 minutes!

                6. Engen gave us some nice minutes.

                Any thoughts or comments?

Oh piffle. How is that any difference than UMKC playing with confidence and coming after us, or NDSU playing with confidence and coming after us, or SUU playing with confidence and coming after us or IUPUI playing with confidence and coming after us, or WIU playing with confidence and coming after us.....

Palarca, Cordova played well. Garrett struggled tonight. Tried to make things happen that weren't there.

Sturgis, with all due respect I think it's absolute BS for Lakes to come on our forum and pose as a sympathizer at the very moment our guys and their fans have lost another tough one while simultaneously yukking up the loss with his buddies on Bisonville. The sympathy post on our forum and the "must see TV" post on Bisonville were virtually simultaneous.

In South Dakota, that's disingenuous. Not sure what they call it in North Dakota or Minnesota or wherever Lakes calls home.

Does anyone know if we play the Humped Ones the first road conference game next year? Because even if it takes not winning Saturday night, a very big part of me wants this road string to be broken, by 40 points, in Fargo, culminating with a helicopter dunk as time is running out while the five Bison on the floor wet themselves..... This will pass, and it will be very, very satisfying.

I'm sick of them losing on the road too but my God give some credit where it's due. ORU played well down the stretch

It was SDSU's to lose, they lost it. Same as it has been all season long.

Let's just all hope that once the dam breaks the flood begins. Given the fact that SDSU did not play a single senior tonight, isn't five road road wins next season a realistic possibility? Add the home record this year and Jacks are fighting for a conference title.

There's been talk on this board of the Jacks not quite having the talent to win or compete with the top teams in this league. After tonight I'm not sure I'm buying that. ORU isn't the team they were the last few years but they are still a dangerous team. The Jacks showed me how well they can play when they are all playing well and playing as a team. I'm not sure why the struggle with the lead late in games on the road. Maybe it's because they are young, maybe it's because there is pressure on Nagy after several sub-par years and that is rubbing off. None of us really know why but I'm not buying this lack of talent or needing one more guy argument anymore. They do have the talent. If they can somehow get over the hump and start forcing the issue and willing their way to a win this team is capable of some succuess. I look forward to seeing them on their home court at the SF Arena. If they come out aggressive and confident and knowing they can win anything is possible.

I think there will be a flood after the dam gives way. Unfortunately its been a slow and pain staking process. We've been making progress though compared to previous years. That is a given. I know people are sick of hearing that, and I'm sick of the road losses too. But we've changed the tide bigtime this season for winning at home, and I think next season will be the change of the tide for road games. For the rest of the season, lets just keep playin tough, go after Cent, and see what we can do when we get to Sioux Falls.
