.  .  .  For the third straight season the SMSU men’s team will battle NCAA Division I teams in exhibition games. SMSU will face South Dakota State University on Oct. 31 in Brookings, S.D.  .  .  .

The women play Bemidji State on the 31st as well. A nice doubleheader.

I have a feeling that SMSU will be glad that their trip to Brookings is only an exhibition game as the team SDSU should have this year will be far superior to the product that the Mustangs saw the past couple years.....

Over on Panther Nation, a poster(Valley Alum) said that UNI has scheduled Wartburg University and South Dakota State University - either in late November or early December...

"I believe that UNI will play Central College in an exhibition on Nov 1 and the other additions to the schedule are Wartburg University and South Dakota State, one in late Nov and the other in early Dec.

I have heard that the conference schedule will be released next week!"

Even when I was at the game and SDSU was being embarrassed by Marquette last year, I was never waivering in cheering for SDSU. Never even considered it. Marquette was a great place to go to lawschool and I LOVE the city of Milwaukee, but SDSU is who I am.

The schedule is shaping up nicely from an attendance perspective as only the Middle Tenn. St. game will be help when our students are gone, otherwise the students should be on campus for every home game. edit: Maybe Montana State will catch the first part of Winter break.
