This can serve as a coming and going thread. Currently it appears that Bubz is on the going list which is a mild surprise for a guy who has spent 3 years in Brookings.

Does seem odd at the moment but Bubz has some specific reason that perhaps he hasn’t related to anyone but coaches?? Without Bubz we have 6 guard/wing positions remaining at the moment including Rogers. That does not include Burton…he might stay?? I would think Bubz would still have a lot of playing time next year…maybe not…is Roger’s future better and Bubz saw that??? Lot of questions and no answers right now!!?? Maybe Texas was calling him back!!

If the players we have stay, except Mr. Alvarez, we have six men 6' 3" or shorter: Buchanan, Jackson, Jensen, Sayler, Garry, and Haertle. How much or how little will each of these six improve? We don't know and I am afraid to guess. I said last year I hoped a player taller than 6' 3" played shooting forward and I feel the same this year but if not, Mr. Haertle has the tools to be a very good shooting forward. I feel much better about improvement with the taller players but I have no facts. If these 12 all improve and if the team runs good offense, this team could be great, but the odds they do are long. The players need to improve physically and MENTALLY. These are the words of Mr. Robert Knight: The mental is to the physical as four is to one.

I think the general pattern has been and will continue to be that we lose people early in the portal, and pick up people later.

I wonder how happy JT Rock is at New Mexico? Doesnt seem like he plays a lot when ive watched their games. Maybe he wants to move back to SD and be a Jackrabbit like his dad was.

Weird afternoon to see Cluff win a Big 10 title and then NDSU celebrate another tourney birth on national tv. We are overdue to get back there. Hoping Peterson and team can find some portal gems to get us back there.

Bruns among 4 hitting the portal from JSD. NDSU gets crushed by Mich St in battle of FBS powers. Assumption has to be a couple of Bison will be in the portal before the plane lands in North Fargo.

I figured Bruns would be gone. We have more stability than USD at least. Curious more so what NDSU can retain along with UST and Denver.

I saw that POY Johnson is returning to Denver, but that really doesn't affect us anymore.

JT doesn't have any desire to be a Jackrabbit. He has a decent role at New Mexico this year. If I were him I would be looking forward to an off-season working to build off of a base of consistent minutes he earned this year.

His minutes weren't giant but he rebouned and shot 40% from 3 pt range.

Agree. Point guard and scoring power forward seem to be higher priorities
