And there is a picture of the WBB attending the men's game in Ft Wayne....

And they were in Fort Wayne Friday afternoon as there were pictures posted of Hendo visiting ex-coach Iverson. If they did stop off in Brookings, it couldn't have been for long enough to give them any kind of advantage.

When the Roos left for the WAC, it was an easier path to Final 64. That was the intention of the admin at UMKC. The upgrade at the Horizon might be the geographical footprint as the point of view of PFW. I do not know the conference ratings between the 2, but there is likely not a big jump to the top of the conference for the basketball programs. IUPUI women and men settled in similar positions on their move. Also-a plug for Nagy and a con for Kampe-both of those coaches settled into familiar conference positions. Geography is the best guess improvement and if the mileage is figured, it may not be as great as anticipated.

I found it intereesting last night during the broadcast when the announcers were talking about all the advantages SDSU has in basketball over other Summit League teams. This is hot button issue with NDSU once again winning the FCS football championship. The annoucning team discussed how difficult of a road trip this is for "most" Summit League teams. Traveling to Denver and then Ft. Wayne. They mentioned due to larger budgets and commitment to basketball that SDSU was able to charter a plane from Denver and back to Brookings from Ft. Wayne. The announcer said most Summit League teams have to fly commercial and this road trip is a nightmare for them. Maybe the chartered plane helped as the Rabbits looked very fresh in the first half and built a 20 point lead at half time. It was just interesting to listen to someone else complain about money.....

    Go Rabbits!

I believe the men and women shared a charter from Denver to Ft Wayne.

Last year the Dons put up 104 points on the Jacks after they made that long road trip from Macomb so I would say the Jacks did pretty well last night.

Two road wins at this stage is really nice. If we can get two more
we should be right in the hunt for a top two seed. It’s hard imagine any team running away with the title this year.

Through 5 conference games we've had 3 different scoring leaders I believe? Wilson, Freidel, Wingett. Pretty dope.

The three time zone road trip seemed to catch up with the Jacks in the last ten minutes. The guards especially looked gassed at the end. Getting Key back will really help spread the minutes out. Teams haven't applied much back court pressure yet which surprises me, and Key will help there as well.
