Sportscenter has a Burger King feature called “King of the night”. This mornings Sportscenter featured Daum as its King of the Night.

He’s undersized at 6’7, but Avants is a solid offensive Summit league post. Those baby hooks were slick. They’ll be tough to beat on nights when their shooters get hot like they did during two periods last night. We definitely slacked off on covering them in the second half though.

Also, it was nice to hear some fans in the background. The Summit needed that and I’m glad UND is on board.

I heard the coach say in a couple of previews that one key goal was to keep the Hawks out of the paint. The Jacks' defense did that pretty well. Then a couple of UND perimeter guys were really hot with catch-and-shoots from 3-point land. Quick shots like that are hard to stop. But at least the Hawks were putting up somewhat contested 23-footers rather than open 3-footers. UND is a decent team, and it plays hard. Good win for SDSU. Great game by Daum.

True.. and he was the sparkplug in the comeback...hit 5 3's and a did a couple other nice things.

Jacks weren't bad... they were just, sloppy. Some careless turnovers... Actually the defense was very good early, but once the lead got up to 13, they relaxed (or so it appeared).
-Just an off night. Even TK wasn't himself, and you really never see that from him. Good thing Daum was Daum.

The only thing missing was him "raising the roof"
