Maybe significant pay hike. Can't imagine he would go down there and meet with the players if he wasn't going to accept it. Matt Zimmer is reporting Nagy has been offered the job.

Well, Nagy has been here a long time and so maybe he's looking for a new challenge. I don't know his reasoning, but if he decides to leave then I wish him well and we move on. Personally I would like to se what Krabbenhoft could do. Any way it goes down, Nagy would leave the program in good shape and we should be in line to attract good candidates.

Well I don't like this one bit...

I'm trying to think of why this move would make sense. SDSU is a better program. The only think I can think of is that Nagy misses seeing Kampe from Oakland and wants to join him in the Horizon.

On a serious note, SDSU is losing 7 players. Maybe it is the right time for him to move on. Kind of like what people are/were saying about Amy Williams. The move is not a step up imo.

Crazy. Coach was just fired after 22 wins. And it's in the Horizon League.

Probably just job security and familiarity (and the Summit League tourney). Nagy will leave eventually. I don't think to Wright State in the Horizon League is where he'll go though.

I have also seen Jon Coffman (IPFW's head coach) thrown around for the Wright State job.
