I thought fws win over ndsu would be the trump card since they have the best win of the 3 tied. How would we jump them with 2 wins over denver?

The rules call for head to head as the first break, then it is the highest ranked team which is NDSU. Ft Wayne has beaten NDSU and the jackrabbits have not. There is no need to move to the next tiebreaker. You are correct.

Nice win last night. I didn't see a lot of the game. Was on the bench for a tight YMCA 4th grade semifinal . Looked good down the stretch to put the game away. The night off in the conference tournament would be great. But as the two or three seed this team can make it back to The Dance. I think if they would've had to go through NDSU in the semi's it wasn't going to happen. Beating the Bison on Monday and then having to come back the next night would've been a lot to ask.

I think if Denver beats NDSU and SDSU and IPFW lose, then the Jacks would be the 2 seed.

Yes. I think a scenario where UNO wins is much more likely however.

If SDSU, IPFW and Denver end up tied, our record within that group is 3-1. IPFW would be 2-2 and Denver 1-3.

Yup. Kinda weird how we could lose and still get the 2 seed, but that's how the multi team tiebreaker works....collective record within the group.

Jacks cannot finish worse than #3. Jacks win and IPFW lose we are the 2. Any other scenario Jacks are #3. Don't care about anybody else.

Jacks with turnovers in back to back possessions. .

The trouble handling Denver's backcourt pressure was about the only drawback to the evening. Carlson turning it over 5 times was out of character for him.

IPFW, since they beat NDSU.

Jacks need a win over USD and Omaha to beat IPFW. If not, the Jacks would play Sunday but still meet IPFW in the semis. A 2 seed is important, though, because then SDSU would get a day off.

For what it's worth, FW had defeated WIU by 13 in their first meeting and Omaha by only 4. I'm saying that there's a chance....

I really enjoyed the passing tonight. Some flashy plays in the paint. Larson had to be happy with all those dunks.
