The Jacks stay at #19. WIU goes from #18 to #20. The bison slip from #10 to #15. The Summit League remains visible.

Guess kicking the snot out of the Bison doesnt matter. Montana moved up from 23rd to 16th after beating Weber St, who isnt even in the top 25. Polls are a mystery.

No one said life is fair. A loss at WIU and SDSU must count more than victories. It would be nice if they are still ahead of the Jacks after the Jacks win regular season conference. The bison would still throw stats and numbers around like that is the end of story.

Agree, head to head does not mean as much in basketball as it does FB. That said, I am certain many of the voters have no idea that SDSU beat Montana earlier this year. If they do they realize Montana was missing one of their best players and I believe he is back now. Good news, this poll means nothing.

Let's face it we should all probably be lumped together. Depends what happens with ndsu with out braun and maybe miss wright a game ot 2. Will be interesting what they do. If they hold serve with lower teams and don't get upset probably will stay right with us. Going undeafted in the confrence is the only way I see a team would make big jumps. If they look at head to head and rpi.

If we win out the rest of the year I would assume we would be ahead in ndsu and montana.

I'd love to see some of these ballots...Indiana State has beaten Creighton, Wichita State(on the road), Miami and Ole Miss. Those are four probable NCAA tournament teams and this week they are finally ranked. Some of the teams on top of them in the rankings haven't had that many good wins in three or four years let alone one season.

Gonzaga has moved up to #2 in the over-all polls. Is this the highest a mid-major has ever been ranked ? I can't remember a mid-major ever being ranked #1 in the overall poll.
