    Re: Baylor

My first thought was not a bad matchup and I guess I still think that way. If you are a 14 seed, it's gonna take a hell of an effort to win your first game. You are gonna be underdogs....pure and simple.

Now Baylor is really athletic, however, I don't think they are the most disciplined basketball team. They can and do tend to check out at times. This leads to an upset by a team they would normally beat.

Let's face it guys, we aren't gonna get much respect. That's what we want, we don't want the players to respect us. We beat a team like this a couple times we will get respect. We gotta earn it.

I'm picking the Jacks to win the tournament in one bracket. Why you ask? Because I can.

    Welcome to the board Jeremy.

I have watched Baylor play a few times this year and enjoy your team's style of basketball. Jones III and Miller are athletic freaks, Jackson is a lightning quick PG, Heslip is a fantastic shooter, and Acy is going bald (JK, he's a very good player in his own right).

    Should be a fun game.

Quincy Miller has really impressed me when I've seen Baylor play. He will be a tough match-up for Griff

Evolution Prime: lets hope their team thinks a little like that too. (But, not likely...their coach understands mid-majors.)

Yeah loved the Baylor fan that lives in SD that said the Summit was VERY weak. Compared to the Big 12 maybe but not out of all conferences. The threads on them already making the Elite 8, the lynch mod for Seth Davis for having the gall to pick against them. Complete disrespect. Hardly a discussion on thier first round game and looking ahead to later rounds.
