  • Dykstra named All-American

BOSTON, Mass. - CollegeInsider.com named South Dakota State's Jordan Dykstra to its Mid-Major Freshman All-America team, one of 21 mid-major freshman to earn the honor.

"We're all pleased to hear that Jordan earned a selection for this team," SDSU head coach Scott Nagy said. "We knew he had a tremendous year and we expect even bigger things from Jordan in the future."

A Rock Valley, Iowa, native, Dykstra averaged 11.3 points per game for the Jackrabbits in his freshman season, and led the team with 5.1 rebounds per game and with a .515 three-point field goal percentage.
