I believe this is just message board gossip so you might want to give your pee saturated cheerios to your dog...unless we here an official annoucement.

I had read somewhere earlier that we had a committment from Maria Boever from Worthington, MN for WBB. Was this an '06 committment, I don't see her on this years list of recruits.

The one type of player we don't have and I still think might be addressed is that quick 6'4-6'5 guard/small forward who can slash to the basket and pick up on a defensive a similiar player that most DI teams have. I also think we need an experienced big man with some bulk who can bang inside.

You mean someone like Steve Holdren?

                      Re: Late signing period

No question we have some good young players in the mix. The key is to have one of those type players in every class so we have better balance. I don't see the kind of player I was describing in the class of 2005. It seems redshirting most players as freshman will become the norm in DI unless we have a superstar that has a well developed game and that may not come until we are more esstablished and in a conference.

I noticed over on Bisonville that NDSU is also persuing a couple of Missouri kids. Most likely the same guys the Jacks have reportedly expressed interest in which are both in the Missouri Super 25 #23 Adam White of North Kansas City and #25 Lorenzo Riley of Platte Co.

I haved looked at UMKC,SEMO etc website's to see if they had signed there and they have not. I guess Nagy indicated at a Staters Luncheon in Sioux Falls today that they were looking at signing 2-3 more players. Joe Green's name did not come up.

Yes, it's on the Drury Basketball website. Drury is a DII school of 4500 in Springfield, MO.
