    Agreed.

Same deal thursday night as well. Thursday he had a couple o-fouls and a couple carries and got pulled pretty quick a couple times as well. I'm confident he'll come around.

No choice with only two other bigs on the roster

Heemstra was never an option to redshirt with our lack of size/depth. Hindsight is always 20-20. He's still only one play away from seeing about 20 min/game.

Heemstra has played in 17 games and is avg. over 9 min. of playing time per game. He just didn't play much tonight

He also didn't see the floor against UMKC on Thursday. A total of 1 minute the last two games.

Well 2 min. last night, but who is counting.

He has also played 10 min. vs. IPFW, 17 min. vs. Western Ill., and 18 min. vs. Centenary. He is a true Frosh. on a talented team.

              Here are his stats:

and like I said before we didn't really have an option to red shirt him, did we?

I'm still surprised he doesn't at least get some minutes with Jordan. Why not let them show what they did together in high school. I think Griff has done a great job this year, but sometime I would like to see him get a break. Let Tony, Jordan, and/or Marcus share time on the floor together (2 of them at a time not all 3)and let Griff get time at the 3. Sure Marcus needs to pack on a few to not get pushed around, but our double teaming would be a lot tougher on other teams with 2 people over 6'7".

As for the game last night, didn't like the turnovers in the first half but they held onto the ball better in the second and they got the win.

I have been impressed with Moss the last few games I have seen. He is really playing well. He has some putbacks last night, made a couple of jumpers, had some nice assists, and played pretty solid defense. One more weapon that teams have to worry about.

I still can't believe we only scored 58 against UMKC. I just don't understand how we could have played that poorly? I guess it's time to move on.

I understand. I'm just pointing out that it's too bad. Same thing with Dale Moss. Just think if he was a junior. Clint and Dale could have another year of eligibility.

This isn't high school anymore!!! Do you really think just because they are on the floor together they are giong to magically score a bunch of points?

I'm sorry, but it isn't going to happen.

My thoughts after last night...we need a big guy so Dykstra can play the 4. Wow, how good is he going to be if we can move him to the 4? Answer: scary good.

generally as the season moves on the bench gets smaller, just how it works, I think Nagy, and everyone would have loved to redshirt Heemstra but it just wasn't an option.

Nope, never did say it was 'magically' gonna create points. But with Marcus in the game, Jordan does get to play the 4 (which I believe I mentioned in my post). But they also have playing chemistry (just like Tony and Chad have). The centers for SUU weren't built so there isn't any reason Marcus couldn't have gotten some minutes with either Tony or Jordan (they both are 4's) and Griff could have moved to the 3 (or Chad).
