Added to the list (Page 1 of the thread):

Adam Sailor a DB from Cedar Rapids, IA.

    Video Highlights:

Even though he wouldn't have ideal height at 5'8", the highlights show a gamer.

Jackrabbits had Pella Christian QB Kyle Nikkel in to visit this weekend. He has also visited USD and Winona State. In talking with him, he did say right now he liked Winona State and SDSU a lot. Nikkel is a good sized quarterback (6-6 or 6-7) and also plays pretty good basketball. Here is a look at his recruiting info: http://bit.ly/cJiROx

Another Nebraska LB to add to the list. Garrett Reese, a 6'2" 235 lb. All-Stater from Pleasanton, NE plans to be in Brookings this weekend for the home opener. He was the only underclassman to be named to last year's All-State D-2 team as posted by the Omaha World-Herald.

I talked to Garrett yesterday while officiating a junior high game at his school. He confirmed that he has narrowed his list down to SDSU and the Huskers. His dad was also very high on him playing for Kansas State, but they have concerns that Bill Snyder will not be able to pull a Joe Paterno and coach until he dies.

Garrett is playing on an 8-man team that has few players back from last year's semifinal team that went 11-1. He dominated their defense as a junior by averaging 14 tackles per game. He likely won't attend a smaller regional school as he is interested in pursuing Agricultural Engineering as a major. I believe he has not been offered a scholarship at this point, but I could see him attending as a walk-on with the chance to earn a scholarship.

Taylor Bloom's dad was an o-lineman for the Jacks in the late 80's.

Link that names alot of the top SD high school players.

I'm not too familiar with the local scene but there seems to be some players with good size on that list. Any names jump out at anyone?

Thank God he is a linebacker, he would have a terrible name for a Kicker.

Excellent pickup in landing Ben, now lets go get his fellow linebacker Brock Sherman. It would be awesome to have that pair to match the pair from Rock Valley on the bball team.

I find it interesting that Rivals did not have SDSU listed as a team that was interested in him. Just goes to show that even the experts can miss on recruits too.

    Info from TV's Tuesday Tidbits:

More info on Crete linebacker Ben Muff, a two-star recruit and the Jacks' third football verbal for 2011: He ran a school-record 10.9 seconds in the 100-meter dash to qualify for the state track meet as a junior. That was coming off a foot injury suffered during basketball. ... He had 17 catches for 454 yards and 7 TDs as a junior. ... One of his teammates, lineman Ryne Reeves, is committed to Nebraska.

Looks like a good get. He had an offer from NDSU so it's always nice to beat them out for a kid. He will join his former teammate OL Justin Taylor (a walk-on freshman for SDSU).

This could be interesting. The #1 football prospect in North Dakota, OL Connor McGovern, has narrowed his choices to UND, NDSU & SDSU.

He might be the only North Dakota prospect I've seen in the past 3-4 years that SDSU has pursued. It would be nice to see us steal a recruit from up north instead of the other way around for once.

Does anyone know if he has any connection to George McGovern?
