Maybe I should have explained that I clicked on your link and that is what came up at that time on the KELO site. I don't know if they changed it from when you looked or not, but you did not reference a time zone and the web site did. That is why I posted the what I thought was a helpful update.

cool thanks man, I was responding to a person in rapid city so I did the change for him. the link I posted was suppose to be for KCLO but it automatically returns to the KELO programming, even though U had selected the KCLO and had the game time on my screen. prolly like a flash deal or something.
but a good heads up for thous who may not have caught that.

Speaking of the media. Is TV keeping it a secret who's covering the game for the AL?

Probably be Stu after he picks a guy from O'Gorman to be the AL Elite 45 Captain in the paper tomorrow. He'll have to escape from Sioux Falls before the Washington faithful lynch him.

My honest guess is going to be Mick. Though I don't know what the Udot weekend schedule is.

Good news. We'll be stuck with Montana annuoncers, I guess, but it's better than nothing. It'll probably be annoying, though.

I posted this in another thread, but I'll copy it here since there seems to be some...ahhhh...concerns along these lines:



A couple of notes concerning the telecast:

First, as you can likely imagine, the production quality leaves a little to be desired, so don't be expecting ESPN in HD. At times, the camera work is a little shoddy, and one of the cameras seems to "fade out" colors.

Second, the announcers are decent, but also not world class. If Grady Bennett handles the analyst's role, he's truly excellent, but they only get him about half the time due to his other responsibilities (which include teaching, coaching and a bunch of charitable work). The play by play guy is fair, but don't expect Al Michaels. Obviously, their focus is toward the Griz, but I find them to be rather impartial and they tend to study the opposition in depth. It's not as though you'll be listening to the Griz Radio Network.

Well, that sounds a lot better than having to listen to all of the former Bison players when we pick up the NDSU broadcsts on TV.

yeah the KPAX crew that does the TV work for Griz games can be called many things (pathetic, lacking in skill, ear pollution, etc....) but i wouldnt really say "homer" is one of them....they are Griz fans but Buck especially seems to get just as excited when the other team is having success....Bennett does a good job and i heard a rumor he will be in the box with Buck so it might be a better than normal showing for them.

As long as Chris Collensworth isn't in the booth with the guy, it should be fine. Can't be any worse than Mediacom's TV crew. Half the time they don't know where the ball is.

We suffered through Ron Johnson on the Minnesota broadcast. He offered gems like, "The Jackrabbits want to score a touchdown or field goal on this possession," in between long monologues about himself. Pathetic.

So if these guys have studied at all. It'll be fine.
