The reason they do that is because you want your more athletic players on defense. You'll see a lot of defensive linemen in college that try out as offensive linemen in the NFL. It's just easier because the quickness usually isn't there compared the the elite players. Also, factor in that they were deep at RB, they were probably trying him there in case one of the young linebackers got hurt or didn't play as well as expected.

explanation is quite simple actually....Big TE's move inside and get a 70 #.....mid majors and smaller recruit a lot of RB's & WR's....move some to defense.....this is because if a fast athletic kid is on defense he's recruited by the big boys....

That is unfortunate but not unexpected. Good luck to Stefan at St. Cloud, they got a good one.

This is kinda sad news to hear for me personally cause I work with Stefan this summer and he was a real good kid. Not unexpected though, as he had been slowed by injuries and got behind a lot of good backs on the depth chart. Hopefully he is successful at St. Cloud.

I agree with the QB and Oline. The o line needs to be able to pass block much better and get the run game going to help take pressure off the new QB. We need to get the ball to Minnett as much as possible in both the running game and passing game. I'm also kind of worried about the interior defensive line. Replacing Schroder will be hard and we need more depth to be able to rotate guys in.

We return the main backs of

    I'm missing one
and then we add Tyrel Kool....

I think looking at next year it will depend on 3 things

    QB play
    DB play
and how good the O-Line is...

If the O-Line is powerful and we can run the ball a lot and slowly work in the QB (the 2 that we have are red-shirt freshman)... it will be a big help....
