Well, it will be a tough one to come back from. We don't have much big-play potential. In that vein, we're similar to last year. Big plays last year, for the most part, were runners breaking free or short passes where the receivers found/made running room. Sigh.

UNI certainly looks like the team to beat in the MVFC today. We look like a team that needs a game at Stephen F. Austin to feel good about ourselves again.

Well, over 3 quarters of play and we sure don't look very good. But I shouldn't be surprised...its been a long time since we won a big game like this on the road! I hope I'm proven wrong by the end of the game but at this point I don't see many signs of promise.

Gonna need a bit of a collapse from UNI to get us back in this thing. They are controlling the LOS and I don't see us changing that. I understand they are a top 10 team on their home field but I felt like we could at least play with them. This whole game reminds me of the 2nd half against UNI in Brookings last year. UNI is a better team, with better players and depth and with a better scheme than us today. We need a stop here and then a quick 6 and then we see what happens. If UNI gets uber-conservative we might surprise them.
