Coaches say Gant is very talented, but has concentration issues. Not surprising for a freshman.

Punch it in here. Try an on-side kick. Get out of here with some good feelings. The bright side of this to me is that some backups got quality reps against a very good team. The coaches have talked about depth being a problem. The only way to develop players is if they play. Granted, I'd like to get Schroeder, Campbell and Kjerstad back in there full speed soon.

And announcer guy, it's MinETT, not Minay. Cripes.

Gant may be fast. But I don't think he has very good hands. He's dropped two. Probably should have caught that slant for a TD.

If anyone can find something positive to take away from this game its Coach Stig. I can't think of much of anything except to say the Barry made some nice throws when he had more than 2 seconds to pass the ball. Good to see Pete make a couple of FGs. Otherwise, they dominated on offense, defense, and special teams.

Time to regroup. Its tough to win 3 in a row in the MVFC and UNI was undefeated last year. Time to check our egos and realize the each week is a new challenge. That YSU game seems like forever ago after today. Gotta go on the road again next week.

I have a lot of respect for our guys. They go out there and give it their all each week.
