What would happen if someone setup a tailgate in the other $10 paid lots? Anyone tried that? I was looking at games I attended this year but did not see anyone tailgaitng in those lots east of performing arts center and east of First Bank & Trust Arena.
I had some interaction with the ticket office and as far as tailgating they said that the lot north of the diary bar will be available for $10 first come first server tailgating on Saturday for the Montana game. I am not sure if this is new or if it has been available previously. It is right on the access from Medary that you use to get to the lot north of the library that used to be available to all but is now Jackrabbit Club only parking.

Perhaps we can put the Wisniewski may play in playoffs rumor to rest now that he's in portal.

There was a note about obtaining tailgate options in a lot NW of stadium.(I think). I could not find the email. Call 605-688-5422

They did not much of the season but have been featuring him more in the last couple of games in the running game. In the playoffs as necessary I am sure he will be unleashed and ready to run. The Bobcats do have a very potent and mulit-faceted run game. It would be a fun game in Frisco if we and they advance. I would still like to see how they would do having to go 9 plays against our defense drive after drive.

Sorry about that. I kept reading about people bitching that we played Augie. It must have been on one of the Facebook pages. I gotta keep my **** straight.

Yes, we discussed that earlier in the thread. ACU reaped the benefit of that cancellation.

For everyone criticizing the Angie game. Scheduling FCS games isn’t very easy for SDSU any longer. I had a conversation with a staff member about the SE LA game being on the road. I was told SDSU couldn’t give them enough money to come to Brookings this year and they knew SDSU was having problems getting FCS games. So on the road you go as the 2 time champions. I guarantee UIW came to Brookings for the payday and I believe they’re looking for paydays to leave the FCS. The decision to play Angie then becomes out of necessity and dollars. The place was packed. Tickets were sold. Concessions were sold and the game was played. My guess is the administration and football staff didn’t love the game but they did what they had to.

    Go Rabbits!

If you throw out the head-to-head due to the three-way tie, I like SDSU in this scenario. I think the D-II argument is ridiculous. When determining the playoffs in the FBS are they really comparing the quality of the bottom opponents to break the tie? For example, would the difference between Team A and Team B making the college football playoff be that Team A beat Kennesaw State who is FBS, while Team B only beat Mercer who is FCS?
I think you guys had a case for #2, won't disagree at all with that. The committee could have just used something like Massey to break the tie since our resumes were so close and I would have been fine with that.

USD though, due to some issues out of their control(PSU and conference scheduling) kind of was stuck at #4. Not sure what led to them to playing Northern, sounds like they just couldn't find another opponent. Had they lost last weekend I am not sure if they even would have gotten a bye.

Flip a coin for MSU, USD, SDSU, NDSU and who gets what seeds for 1-4, no matter the outcome, it is justifiable. MSU probably deserved the #1, but are they truly the best team in the country? Who knows, only time will tell. My gut opinion, the top teams are #1 coin toss between NDSU vs SDSU, #3 USD, #4 MSU.

The round 2 tickets are purchased. Dress warm in case the wind picks up.
