I thought Tarleton reneging was the reason the Jacks played Lindenwood in 2021. I think Utah Tech (formerly Dixie State) was the reneging party this year.

Don’t be surprised if Rhode Island upsets Mercer. Either way I don’t see either one coming within 20 of the Bison.

Was reading the USD board and the thought over there is that they have the easy bracket and I kind of agree. I expect Montana to come to Brookings in the 2nd and that’s not an easy matchup. After that I’d assume it’s either UIW or Villanova, both of whom are very tough. Follow that up with a trip to Fargo. Bison have an easier path but that semifinal game will be a war.

That’s the only time the Griz have played in Brookings. I think we’ve played 9 or 10 times, and all but 2 were in Missoula. About time they get sent on the road to play the Jacks.

This would be the tenth time (pg. 14), and I believe it would be the first time the Jacks have ever played Tennessee State

Was going to ask if they’d ever been to Brookings before. Playing the Griz would be a great second round matchup.

I'd have to hope that would lock Jacks into at least an afternoon game on 12/7, if not primetime.
