Good win, not much else to say about it. SIU was just outmatched.

Next week is the real test. Bison are throttling Missouri State so maybe they aren’t as good as their record indicates. Still, it’ll be in Springfield and their last FCS game. Gotta be ready.

Busy day, SDSU football then SD Symphony. That's a double header that hits 2 of every 3 seasons. Nice day for football. Surprising the attendance was over 17k. Looked like less. I guess I'm too used to full stadium.

The targeting call on Bock was BS. Looked like his head was up and the crown made contact because he was pulling out of the hit. After the hit he held on to the QB to keep the QB from falling to the ground. I know the rule is there to protect players. I just think Bock should've been cut slack as it appeared he was trying to prevent injury to the QB. Maybe just me looking through blue & yellow glasses.

SIU was completely over matched. They put up an effort early on defense but could not sustain that. Meanwhile their offense was mad 1/2 dimensional. No running game and 1/2 a passing game (decent receivers, QB play less so). Jacks running game was overpowering. Didn't Stigs say that a running game can demoralize the opposing team. That was this game.
