There was some talk on here earlier about some old players possibly returning from Washington State. If this was the case we would have to know by the end of the day correct?

And he is from California…his parents can make their 1st trip to Brookings(most likely first)when the Jacks play Sac St this fall

Players have to tell the school today, sometimes it takes the school a couple of days to get them in the system.

The student athlete would need to enter the portal by today. Decisions for a destination would not need be done by today.

I never could imagine why any of them would be coming back. Unless Jimmy and crew misled them tabout NIL opportunities, what do they have to complain about? I doubt he promised them playing time and if he did, he is a fool and I don’t think that. They knew or should have known what they were getting into! Suck it up and compete dude or ride the bench.

6’ 4” 210 kid that had some P5 looks in high school! Nice addition. Never know with the way the portal is that you could loose your starting quarterback to a million dollar deal if he blows up this season. Great insurance policy!

We will need to watch for the portal report. I had heard there was one ex player that had interest of returning. I am sure Coach Jackson would have the final say on any prodigal returns.

So have I. I have been waiting all week for an announcement, and since we haven't heard anything yet I am starting to wonder.

Eidsness surely is familiar with him - wouldn't think that he would bring him in unless he thinks that he can contribute and compete for the back-up job.

You have to think this has been in the works, and is why we had two quarterbacks transfer last week.
