He specifically named all our QBs in the room so I don't think anyone else is leaving.
    That sounds somewhat ominous...

I listened to it a couple of times. Nothing ominous sounding at all.

DJ also said owing to the academic calendar, they are done adding for now but might add pieces as the dust settles on the 5000 kids in the portal.

Likely just want a second experienced option if Chase would go down. If that would happen, it would have been Henry with 3 games experience and a bunch of guys with none.

Should fit in nicely. He's another mobile QB. Was played of the game for the Idaho potato bowl game. Longest rush on the year was like 40 yarda

Jack Johnson, transfer safety from Moorhead apparently tore an achilles in Jan.

Jackrabbit Illustrated came out with a two-deep today and he had him listed as a starting safety.

Yup, and his (purported) Dad chimed in and informed about the injury on the JI X post.

D2 apparently still has a spring portal judging by the number of announcements on Twitter. I'm guessing that an addition or two might be possible if the staff sees an opportunity to improve.

Today (4/28/26), The website "FCS Football Central" published an article titled "Which FCS Playoff Contenders Have the Most Returning Experience in 2026?"

While the portal and NIL appear to be universally disliked by SDSU fans, the article mentioned above ranks the Jackrabbits #1 in response to the article, an indication that while we may have taken some hits, we've avoided the negative side of the portal/NIL better than most FCS teams. Developing and keeping players in the program continues to be a top prority for Dan Jackson's staff.
