I saw something about students needing to be there by 5 or 6 to line up to get into the pit. I'm relying on students to fill the pit. I plan on heading there after setting up the tailgate and be right behind the pit I'm guessing.

I DMed the The Rabbit Den Twitter account to see if there is something in the works to get the students there early. See what they say.

Can anyone confirm if there has been any university wide push to get people/students to get to the game day set EARLY? I'm concerned that a lot of Jack's fans are going to try to show up at 7, only to be way too late to fill the front with blue. There needs to be a university push to encourage fans to be there no later than 5 AM to be honest. Being the first ones there, even if it's just a couple hundred fans, will pretty much guarantee that the TV shot is mostly blue.

Also, everyone going to Gameday should bring their cowbells. They may not be allowed in the stadium but you could have them in the crowd at Gameday.

Not just home games. The tools tried it last time in Brookings and were notably drowned out by the F-16s flying over. Hopefully the SDANG manages to do so again.
