i saw on the one camera shot the ball hit Jakes chest,bounce in the air and come down in his grasp.How can i see this on TV and they can't and they're right there?I know i was right because Jake was gesturing it hit him in the shoulder,i thought it was his chest area.The commrnters were more concerned whether it was targeting on what's his name,instead of whether the throw was a touchdown or not .Poor commentators, very one dimensional in their focus,very poor commentating crew in my opinion.

I didn't read this whole thread after I got home, and so if this was noted earlier, I apologize. IMHO the Bison were taken by complete surprise by Taryn's success in running the draw and other running plays by him...which I believe caused them to have a major problem in trying to get inside on him. And I think they were unprepared because we had not shown that very much in earlier games. I know that our coaches felt Taryn was a little quick to run last year. It is obvious he has grown a bunch since then, and I believe our coaches had saved that fact for this game. Realizing that the last play was the "last" play and meant success or failure, I would have had a hard time seeing them win, because we thoroughly outplayed them the second half. Thanks FB Jacks for a great win!!!

Last year we got mocked for not having replay capabilities. Perhaps Bison need to upgrade their equipment so you can get the easiest calls right. That Goedart play could have cost the Jacks the game!

In addition to the OL, fullback Kane Louscher had another excellent game blocking for the run. That guy is very overlooked. He first caught my eye two weeks ago against Western picking up blitzes and providing good pass protection. I then made it a point to watch him each of the past two weeks, and he's got game from the fullback position. However it was Grimsrud that was playing at the end of the game, so I'm thinking Louscher got dinged up.

They showed him getting hurt. And I think on the sideline getting tended to.

I'm still a little stunned SDSU only scored 19 and won.

Thought for sure to win we'd need to put up at least 30.*

*edit - And I knew putting up at least 30 vs NDSU was going to be pretty much impossible. Out of the question. Zilch chance. Notta.

We probably did put up 26 but Goedert got a bad call on the TD ... he's not the kind of player that is going to keep going on if he hadn't made the catch but he kept making the catch sign and seemed to say it hit him on the shoulder pad and not the ground before he caught it... .

Watching it live, I couldn't believe that throw made it there. TC was getting pressured and had to throw off his back foot. Big time play by both of them.

It was a great route and catch, too... without it, we might not win the game. I knew then they were going to.

Looks to me we may be on the way to the Upper Midwest Championship! Go Jacks!!

Here is the best stat of the game we did not punt ounce. That's amazing, great job by jacks and the coaches didn't dominate on the scoreboard but where fighting till end. Way to not let adversity get you GO BIG GO BLUE...... Go JACKS
