The play calling needs more then the same old plays. Defenses watch film and will stop those plays more than not. How about some misdirection runs to keep them honest. The O line has little chance if the box has eight defenders and the running plays are identified immediately so the defense over pursues.

If if you have the athletes, let them play and open things up. Go Jacks.

Stig was just on the radio and talked about how they are changing their practice routine after having the same routine for 19 years. They are going to a Chip Kelly system where they have very light walk throughs on Thursdays, then on Fridays they will do a 50 minute high intensity workout. It's nice to see Stig embracing new ways of doing things, or at least willing to try them.

hopefully a little change to the play calling would be nice too. Dont get me wrong, doing things the same way works pretty well most of the time. sometimes though we need to change a little. Just hopefully they dont change things too much and causes a backslide. Some times the O line struggled with some of the more basic blocking schemes, worry that to many wrinkles or changes they might struggle to pick them up as a proficient level.

10% chance of 8-3?! Bro. brah. brethren. I feel like 7-4 should be the most likely with 8-3 a close 2nd. Then 6-5 after that. If we go 6-5, the season is a complete failure imo.

The result of watching us lose "a game we should not have lost" year after year after year.

I'm on the 7-4 bandwagon also. I'd break it down like this:

40% chance of going 7-4

30% chance of going 6-5

10% chance of going 8-3

20% chance of something else.

I'm glad all you guys are so optimistic! Makes me feel better. I'm nervous about this season. Don't know if it's the qb thing or what.
However, I think I said the same thing last year.

40% chance of going 7-4

30% chance of going 6-5

10% chance of going 8-3

20% chance of something else.

I'd go

7% of better than 8-3

3% of worse than 6-5

Going to go with our standard 7-4(5-3), 1st round of playoffs, and then an early exit.

I'm not going to predict game for game but I'll also go with 7-4 make the playoffs and lose early. We will lose at least one game we absolutely shouldn't (pretty much our MO) just as RO says.
