I thought perhaps we'd get a look at FCS newcomer West Florida but they scheduled a Week 0 home game with SIU. Pretty slim pickin's at this point.

There's still a few Pioneer League teams with Week 0 availability. Notably, UIW still hasn't added a 12th game, either and in fact, doesn't have a game scheduled until Sept 12. I would love to see UIW back in Brookings but I'm guessing with only 5 home games scheduled, UIW isn't wild about hitting the road. I assume we'd have to give them an a game at their place next year or in 28. Alternatively, but not ideally, we have 2 OOC openings next year still. Perhaps we hit the road for Week 0 and get UIW at home next year or in 28.

Listened to the radio replay of the spring game which included Coach Jackson, and it sounded like news may be coming out this week about the 12th game.

Ticket office called this a.m. for seat selection and I asked about a 12th game. "Working on it" was what I was told. "Finalizing some things" and "hopefully by the end of the week" were also muttered.

Told me something similar last week. They're reportedly at contract signing stage (at least I was told they were just waiting for a team to sign a contract)

The 12th game is in ! August 29th home game with Stetson. Good to see they got an FCS program. Will be interesting to find out what it cost.

Valpo and I believe Stetson in the PFL are still available 8/29.

I'm glad the Jacks were able to land a D-1 team, regardless of the conference, for the 12th game of the season. Having seven home-games will be sweet. So will having a game before traveling to play FBS Northwestern.
