so, what was that talk about how tob realized the importance of the tournovers and how important they are? I dont think that message sunk in. The last pick. The D new exactly where it was going and was ready for it. Just like every other pick. sumner needs a chance to show what he can do..

Long time lurker, 1st time poster. I wish it was under different circumstances, nothing has really sparked me to post until now. I don't understand how Stig can believe that a "leader" like TOB can continue to run this team. I understand the entire team has had their flaws this week/last week, but how much of it is apathy due to Stig continuing to start TOB? I think putting in Sumner may at least rally the rest of the team in the upcoming games....continuing to start TOB, and Stig will lose the interest of the entire squad.
On a related note, if changes are not made soon the program will suffer damage that will take years to make up for. We have potentially a great offensive line, great receivers, and a decent running game. The offensive coordinator should be able to put together a game plan that makes us somewhat respectable. Seeing the same game plan, game after game, year after year, with the same crappy plays will not get us different results. I am a season ticket holder, live in the Twin Cities, and already struggle with convincing my wife that our tickets are worth keeping...if this continues I may no argument against her.

nice first post, and I agree with alot of what you said. However, never give up your season tickets, your Jackrabbit dammit! be proud and cheer on the team. Things will change.

A true fan sticks with a team thru good AND Bad, keep the tickets they support your program and the kids trying to play to satisfy rubes like us. Pulling money from them is not going to help. Just my opinion
Also, I really tried to talk my wife into a trip to Cali for this game. She would have killed me if we would have made the trip for this performance. I would have been paying that back for years...
True dat! We will not win another game this season. i'll put $20 on it.
I'll gladly take that.
Our defense is not that bad. It is damn near impossible to win when your quarterback is responsible for at least 27 points for the other team.
I hate commenting on current personnel and such, but I think there definitely needs to be another look at Sumner. Just to give the team a shot in the arm, if nothing else.

now, I am pissed, TOB should have to stay in the game and finish the last minute, its insulting to the back up to put Sumner in now. TOB should have to be on the field and walk off after his performance. I dont see us even getting close to last years win total. 4 wins will be a miricle and the team needs to see how bad it really is. Top down, there needs to be made some changes, or all the hard work teams did to get us through the transition will be wasted and put us unable to get a new stadium.
When does basketball season start?

Did you watch the webstream? The defense was less than par. TOB is only part of the problem.

To give our future teams some experience. Tob might be a starting QB next year too, and could very well be a 4 year starter, with every year getting worse then the year before it.
