His line will be even better than last yr- I think our system will change some to help out our immobility at QB, he will have another spring to work out some of the things that hampered him last year, our Wr's will be better this year and experience never hurts. Its time for TOB to have a break out year or at least that is my hope!!

I couldn't agree with you more in regards to receivers. Even Brett Favre looked bad with mediocre receivers. Look how much better he played with Sydney Rice. How are the receivers better this year? Are the Red shirts exceptional? I know the kid from Andover is good, but isn't he a possession type guy? We need a burner like JaRon Harris. Who is that guy? Who do you think will be the #1 and #2 receivers?

How do you account for the graduation of your two outstanding tight ends? That will be tough for the Offense to make up.

Asking the line to be even better is a lot to expect but it is the Jackrabbit way. Losing an All American Center is going to hurt more than you realize; however, the O -line should be very good.

I'm not from MO so TOB will have to show me. I'm sorry, but I just don't see it. It seemed like TOB regressed from the playoff team to last years team.

I hope I am wrong. Very much so.

On what do you base your thesis?

The winter will not improve his pocket awareness, escape ability, lack of foot speed, and fear of taking a hit. He was one of the most protected QB's in the nation last year, yet he threw away too many int's. Many were for fear of being hit.

Will the off season improve his dual threat running ability?

Will losing veteran running backs and having a new RB in the backfield pass blocking improve him this year?

Will the off season improve his ability to attack the middle of the field?

Hopefully the off season improves his staring down and locking on to one receiver.

I could go on but we will shortly see.

I'd like to see what basis the TOB defenders base their he will improve theory. I don't think it was a lack of experience that caused the deficiencies.

Never too early for a QB controversy. The whole season depends on the starting QB. He will determine the W's vs. the L's. Sorry but that is the reality.

TOB may have grown. We'll find out shortly. Sumner may or may not have passed him. Spring game is what - 4-16-11?

Question for you Bookings natives - Is the snow gone and the fields clear for spring ball shortly? Let me know.

Snow isn't all gone but they did remove all the snow from the football practice fields a while back. That should help them be ready for the official start of spring ball.

I think most of the snow on the practice fields is gone, but not sure it will be used for another week or so. I believe spring balls starts this week or next.

How about we stop the Dale talk, yes he will have a chance as a difference maker but that is all we know right now. How about we talk about what young players we are looking forward to watching this spring. I personally am interested in how Chase Douglas has progressed, he came in and played very well last year as a freshman.

Defensively I hope the Dijon Starr kid can provide some quality DLine play for us. He is young but quite talented.
