Iowa still ahead 3-1 at the end of the 7th.
Somson went 6 innings, gave up 2 earned runs and struck out 9. He has some darn good stuff, but some wild pitches and throws hurt him.

Today's game made me realize why some people hate baseball. The family got up early and made the trip to Omaha. Really enjoyed the stadium, but that was as boring a baseball game you would ever watch.
