NDSU hosts Tommies today for the top spot in conference. Minnesale will have his work cut out today for those POY points.

He hasn't been good. And I agree with whoever said he seems like a good guy. He does.

But it has been struggle bus for one reason or another ever since he took over. They look to the North with great jealousy. Our Coach Pete is doing a fantastic job with the hand he has.

The Summit League bottom half, for men's and women's both, is just too weak. Hopefully Dunn/Sell come up with a solution soon before St Thomas leaves us.

Denver has a new coach and new team that took the Tommies to the edge losing at St Paul 92-88. Pios may have a team for the last year in the Summit. The Jackrabbits will get a close up look at the Pios on Thursday.

The OOC finishes for Summit MBB. The overall record is 64-71. 36 of those wins are D1 wins. NET for Summit MBB is 21 fo the 31 conferences. Early it looks like the Tommies and Bison to lead the conference with everyone other than KC in the hunt for 3rd place. The first part of the basketball season is now history with the conference season bucking for seeding of the SLT. We will see if Fenton's new order will boost attendance of SLT.

Saw Lindenwood beat KC by thirteen last Monday. Roos look worse than last year. Marvin Menzies was always recruiting kids from Africa that were described as "Looking good getting off the bus". Those days are over and KC looks like a team that will be near the bottom of the Summit. At least I hope so, if they're mid pack the league is down a lot. Rather miss the old Billy Donlan teams which were sort of like playing hockey. Think they took Mizzou about four years ago by roughing them up, that was the year SDSU was undefeated IIRC. Those days are long gone, Marvin looks like a coach that's been around for too long.

Tommies go 2-1 at Portland MTE. They had 1 game without technical fouls.. Sunday's game had 2 players from each team with technical fouls. Their loss showed Minessale trying to get refs to call fouls when he drove to basket. They are competitive. UND goes 1-1 at WIU MTE with a win over the hosts. NDSU & Denver won close games at N Colorado and Colorado St. The Summit men have 27-30 won-lost OOC.

The Tommies handled Green Bay easily at home. 2658 watch Minessale build his resume for POY. The Tommies have 9 turnovers while shooting 43%.

We sat by some Tommie fans at the SLT 2 years ago that claimed the Summit League was 4 year stop and then onto the Big East. And they said they have plenty of money to do it.
