We have to credit Sioux Falls Live & Matt Zimmer with coverage this week. Zimmer is not a voter for the SLT individual awards, but he has provided football coverage for the Jackrabbits involved in their time at NFL tryouts and he has provided some coverage for the SLT. The Argus has not had staff or time for anything since March 2 games. They have not given USD any coverage for 2+ weeks. The Argus must be getting all their info from the very, very quiet press releases of the Summit League offices.

I have seen that DakotaNewsNow has an ad showing 6:30 pm Thursday on KDLT as a Summit special.

POY candidates likely include Borowicz, Hamling, Evans, P Meyer, Larkins, & B Meyer. If there was ever a co POY situation, Brooklyn & Paige may qualify for that distinction. There is no point guard that can pass Paige and there is no post player that can pass Brooklyn for consideration at their position. Brooklyn could get the nod with her shooting percentage, blocks, and rebounds. She also has only 2.1 turnovers/game while she is double teamed much of the time when she touches the ball in the paint. She shoots 64.8% fg. Paige has great numbers as well leading the conference in turnover/assist ratio. Borowicz may lead the scoring column, but that ends her dominance in a game. It makes Brooklyn the game plan for every game that teams could not control.

Ouch. Probably not her best decision.

NDSU also shot 50% on 3’s - hitting 12 of them. That’s not likely to be repeated either.

Still, they have 2 superstars and a couple excellent role players. They could knock off the Jacks pretty easily if the Meyers get in foul trouble or it’s a bad shooting day. Tuesday should be really entertaining.

Even on their very best day, I'm not sure USD will. NDSU definitely can challenge us. However, I don't see us going 10-25 on FT again against them.
