The seeding looks nearly settled. There could be a surprise where Omaha wins another.
    1. SDSU 14-1
    8. PFW 2-12

    2. USD 12-2
    7. NDSU 5-9

    3. ORU 9-6
    6. UND 5-9

    4. DU 8-6
    5. WIU 8-6

Sunday may be quiet unless Grand Forks brings some fans. WIU usually has a group follow the women.

Are you sure Western Illinois is going to win @Denver?
Denver did beat USD at home. If Denver beats Omaha at home and they win that game, they will be 10-6 just like ORU. I think those two teams split in the regular season so Denver's win over USD would give the the 3 seed, right?
That would make ORU and WIU in the 4-5 game.
That would not change what team plays on what day though.

The WIU vs Denver could switch positions for ORU and Denver. Likely Denver is favored at home. That would be part of the nearly settled part as well. Omaha is not likely to beat ORU or Denver which is the surprise part. I think all the games for men and women are Thursday and Saturday which will make game tracking full time.

I have DU/ORU switched as I see Denver winning at home versus WIU. However, I like your bracket because I have to think that USD wants nothing to do with ORU in the tournament. The Eagles led both games against the Yotes going into the 4th quarter before finally falling. Combine that with ORU almost having the home court advantage over USD at the SLT (as Jacks game would root for ORU in a close game) would make for an entertaining game.

PFW coach is back to the team. They close the season playing the North Dakota schools. The Mastodons had a 2 game winning streak earlier at home against Denver and Omaha. It would be a wild finish for PFW to put together a couple at home to finish the season with Nelson on the bench. The other side of the story is the yotes are the other road game for the North Dakota schools which is penciled in as losses for Hawks and Bison. It would be a big step for the Mastodons to finish at 7.

Early game has WIU at Denver. 1st quarter 26-20 Denver leads. Points are adding fast early. 10 fouls first quarter as well.

Denver 94 WIU 85 Denver outscores Leathernecks 25-14 in 4th quarter.

Omaha gave ORU quite a scare, losing 65-64.

This score surprised me, I though Omaha had given up like NDSU.

PFW has the #8 seed now, but this is close to where it is likely to finish. The regular season tells the story. There are 4 teams with winning records. Of course there could be a minor tweak on 3 & 4.

Creighton beats Marquette tonight 71-65. I don't know if it helps or hurts our rpi, since we beat Creighton by 26, but lost to Marquette by 39. I suspect this game will do neiiher and our rpi should remain about the same, this might help USD a little though. Marquette is a mystery, lost 3 of their last five games to BE opponents, having a rough time of it the 2nd time around in conference. They are currently ranked #13.

Wow, NDSU players have just completely quit on their coach! Losing to PFW is one thing, but by 20?! I don’t know how that administration can justify keeping her on next year despite the buy out amount. Heck, USD is actually getting the better 1st round opponent as the NDSU players seem to already have moved on to the off season (or other teams). Epic fail by hiring Walseth.

It would seem that the bison could let an assistant finish the season to eliminate the speculation on Walseth. Kolpack's article earlier on Walseth was like the door was wide open for departure from the fan support for her had been exhausted. The WBB has been on long skid for awhile.
                            It was Izzo not Kolpack.

On a similar note, look at Denver with the new coach Turgeon setting D1 wins in his second year at the helm.
