I think USD knocked it out of the park with their native American heritage helmet: South Dakota Football Unveils Native American Heritage Helmet for November 1 - University of South Dakota Athletics

IMHO, it would definitely be worth all the slack of being called a copycat for the Jacks to do something similar for the home game closest to Native American Day in future seasons. Maybe the JFPA could sponsor these helmets?

I whole heartedly agree with this. Its a cool thing to honor the indigenous people and kudos to USD.
I would love to see SDSU do things like this.
