    Tennessee 77, Gonzaga 58

Gonzaga loses one of their starters, Jami (Bjorklund) Schaefer (sister of Tennessee's Angie Bjorklund) to a knee injury, so the battle of the Bjorklund sisters doesn't happen in Spokane.

Reminder: SDSU 78, Gonzaga 64 on the same floor at Gonzaga, against a healthy Schaefer.

We are soooooo close, folks . . .

I agree Filbert...even noted that on another thread. I believe that on any given night, we have a 50-50 chance or better to beat anybody rated 6-25...the top five would be tougher, although I don't think they would blow us away (and if San Diego can beat Texas, it shows anything can happen). I just wish we had Maryland on our schedule now, instead of having to go against them early...we were tight, shot poorly, and still were in it near the midway of the last half.

Not a fan of Pat Summitt. Would have love to seen them get knocked off!
