Timmie Time debut at OK State

Haleigh is in the starting lineup and cans her first shot as a Cowgirl. A signature 3. Going to miss her, but still can follow and cheer for her in Stillwater. Exhibition action tonight, so listening on their feed.

was very surprised to see Charlie Creme not include her in Oklahoma State's list of projected starters

I wish her no ill will. I just can't find myself really intrigued by her performance this year. She transferred for all the right reasons as far as I know. But she isn't a Jackrabbit now and I am more of a Jacks fan than a Timmer fan. JMO, best of luck to her.

I would say its just the sting of not having her on the team for her whole duration.

I'm going to follow Timmer (leading scorer at the moment) & OSU but probably not closely until B12 play starts. Her stats from the first two games (third game is tonight) are below the schedule.

The team itself is one to keep an eye on from a scheduling strategy perspective. OSU has an easy non conf schedule & they've started ranked in the preseason polls (#20 or so) and will keep being ranked because I don't see them being tested until like Miami (OSU would be 8-0) and then really tested by Oklahoma. So 11-0 prior to Oklahoma game makes sense. I believe this is a similar situation to WVU from last year (Top 20 AP all year 2-5 Q1, 4-2 Q2 given 6 seed) who started off 8-0 before losing to Texas and finished non-conf play 11-1 ranked in the top 15.

in the 2nd to last AP poll, WVU was #16 with a NET of 12 and given the 6 seed which shows a bit of the difference between where the AP poll is at vs the selection committee.

For Jack's team sake you'd hope she not be too visible, don't need the womens team to be as easy a poaching target as mens (bball and fball)

You can say that again. Tired of watching teams get farmed down. I think we need to go full-communist on college sports, but this is probably not the thread for that type of subject.

Congrats to Timmer and the good start at her new school.
