The players at home won out over the players at the office for North Dakota State assistant football coach Steve Laqua.
He resigned after two years as the team’s running backs coach to spend more time with his family. Laqua and his wife, Patty, a family practice physician at Innovis Hospital, have three children 3 years old or younger.
It didn’t take head coach Craig Bohl long to fill the vacancy. He appointed graduate assistant Tim Polasek to the position. It still leaves the Bison with one opening on their staff after defensive line coach Todd Wash took an assistant’s position with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. . . . (read more)
