Watched the end of Wyoming's win over Lehigh in the College Basketball Insider's tournament. I'm so glad to be a Jackrabbit fan for so many reasons, but it was sad to see the turn out for Wyoming's home game.
AXS TV carried the game and I'm guessing they may have had a handful more watching on TV than live. While they had an announced crowed of 1,572 it looked very vacant in the stands. Wyoming's Arena-Auditorium seats 15,000 and nearly 14,000 of the seats were vacant. It was a sad showing for a game that featured an exciting finish.
Wyoming gets the winner of NDSU/Western Michigan in the next round. I just can't see Wyoming matching up with the Bison. Wyoming's leading scorer has back problems that limited him to 2 minutes of action last night. Their 5'7" guard kept them in the game.
