Perhaps i should stop there, but i have one more.....

I, like Brandon, prefer two pieces of pie instead of one.

I seem to think that this team has always done pretty well with smaller running backs.

All I am saying is that we have our team. If he comes to SDSU fine, but I am not going to yearn for his services like some on here do. Just another case of Jackrabbit fans always seeing that the grass is greener on the other side.

I would rather the coaching staff focus on the WR and QB situation and if he happens to call about playing then they can think about it.

Chances are he would throw the first piece of pie away!!

The expression derives from umble pie, which was a pie filled with liver, heart and other offal, especially of cow but often deer or boar. Umble evolved from numble, (after the French nomble) meaning 'deer's innards'. Umbles were considered inferior food; in medieval times the pie was often served to lower-class people.

So you think he should eat a innards meat pie? Personally if you are thinking a meat pie, try chicken pot pie instead of the umble pie.

Had something funny, choosing not to post for taste and judgement reasons. Referred to the type of pie one might like.

Is there any hard evidence that he's going to USD?

Personally, if he's a difference maker, his attitude is right and his focus is there, I want him at SDSU. That being said, if he's a bad seed let him go elsewhere.

Meh, I'm a one piece of pie kinda guy.

I've got my piece of pie, and I swear to everything good and holy, if anybody touches my piece of pie, they'll pull back a bloody stump.

I really like my piece of pie, if you can't tell.

Not sure how reliable the source is...but here's what is being said on a Husker fan site. I haven't been able to read the tweet as it is blocked at work.

                  Iowa RB Wegher to Oklahoma

According to Des Moines Register reporter Andrew Logue Iowa RB Brandon Wegher is headed to Oklahoma. Logue got the info straight from Wegher himself and asked if he could tweet it. Wegher's response? "Go for it."

Wegher has to sit out next season as a transfer.

If this is true, we need to take up a collection and buy the Oklahoma athletic department a truck load of Perkins' pies . . .

Good luck to Brandon. OU is a top-notch program. And it's a great campus, too.

Tate Forcier late of Michigan is now available. Just get him a tutor.

Well he knows he looks good in blue and yellow uniforms, just a different shade of blue and a better helmet design here. Wonder where he will end up.

He obviously didn't seek much advice from his dad:

"News of Wegher’s decision seemed to catch his father by surprise.

'Brandon is playing this one out himself,' Rick Wegher said, 'and figuring things out for himself.'”

this one surprised me a bit. Thought he'd go D-IAA/FCS. just because he'd be able to play next year and have 3 years of elgibility, likely get a scholarship also. However my bet is he ends up on scholarship by next year. And I'm guessing, that Oklahoma will apply to have him eligible next year, because he did not play a down this year.

As far as Forcier, his brother transfered from UCLA to I think Forheim?
