The Nike Heartland Championships 08 Cross Country meet will be held in Sioux Falls Saturday, Nov 15. The Nike regional meets feed into the Nike National meet. The meet featuring athletes from Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin, will be run at Yankton Trails park in Sioux Falls.
In recent years, some of the nation's best high school cross country runners come out of the Heartland Regional, including some outstanding individuals and teams from Yankton High School and Roosevelt High School in Sioux Falls. Participant can enter as individuals or entire teams. Within a year or two or three, you'll hear some of the same names running well in college meets.

10:30am- Freshman/Sophomore Girls
11:15am- Freshman/Sophomore Boys
12:00pm- Open Girls
12:45pm- Open Boys
1:30pm- 3K Community Race-Register at www.pttiming.com
2:00pm- 5k Community Race-Register at www.pttiming.com
2:45pm- Championship Girls
3:30pm-Championship Boys
4:15pm- Awards
