I have had one nibble from a board user regarding this, but there has been no followup to this point.

I am willing pay a one-year subscription fee of $449.95 to migrate the board from the hosting service it's currently on to "vBulletin Cloud." This will make it MUCH easier for somebody else to take on the future management of the board, as the hosting, site maintenance, and upgrades of the board software will be done by vBulletin Cloud rather than by me...or by you.

Moving to a cloud solution will alleviate 95%+ of the headaches of running the site, by the way...the other 5% or less is basically just checking the board on a daily basis to make sure it's still up, occasional moderation of posts and/or users, and stomping on occasional spammers trying to sign up for the site.

The $449.95 is an annual charge, so going forward there will be fundraising required (or advertising on the site) as I'm not going to be footing the entire bill.

The only other future cost to be considered is paying for the sdsufans.com domain name. The sdsufans.com domain is paid for through Dec. 29, 2030, and the current cost for renewal for an additional year is $25.64, or $116.35 for 5 years (this through pairdomains.com).

I am willing to continue as one of a team of moderators, but I am stepping away from being the tech support guy and primary financier of sdsufans.com.

Either someone steps forward and says "I'll take over". and we start the process of transferring ownership, or this site shuts down on August 1.
