Three more Jackrabbit women academic all-American:

"The South Dakota State women's track and field team landed three Jackrabbits to the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Academic All-American team Monday in Sara Ackman, Michelle Schuch and Nicole Davis." FULL STORY LINK.

Ackman, Schuch and Davis join Amanda Frohling and Ashley Storm -- named Academic All-American first team and second team, respectively, in June by ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Women’s Track and Field and Cross Country Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.


Men's team honors:

"The South Dakota State men's track and field team has been named a U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association 2010 All-Academic team.
The Jacks earned the distinction as a result of a cumulative team GPA of 3.15." FULL STORY LINK

SDSU has certainly done well for itself in the Academic All-American and Academic All-District awards during the D-1 era.

The Jacks earned the distinction as a result of a cumulative team GPA of 3.39.
To earn all-academic status the team must post a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
