Sticking this Thread for the Season.

I'm encouraged by the great start that is occurring. We'll have a better sense of where the Jacks fit in the Summit after the series with ORU and Centenary are done.

    GO JACKS!

One correction, UNC plays baseball in the Great West Conference. The Big Sky doesn't offer baseball.

This may not mean much right now but our Rabbits baseball team is making Tracks. Check out Ping baseball Midwest region ranking coming in at #12 of 54 with a 10-6 record and .502 power index SDSU Jackrabbits
          http://www.pingbaseball.com/rankings/search_region_result.php

Now we gotta keep winning all the way through the Summit League.

Heading South stops in Iowa on to Texas for a little DBU action they are ranked #11 in the SW region on Ping.

The Summit teams took a hit this week with every team dropping in the RPI except S. Utah.

The league itself isn't very strong. With 301 teams in DI, The Summit sports some real bottom feeders.

However, the Jacks have beat some teams that are highly ranked or ranked above us. Arkansas for one. Others are Iowa, Dallas Baptist, Murray State. So, bring'm on. Plus, the Jacks have done it all on the road. Need a win at Mn this week.

Pretty amazing that SDSU has a #1 in D-I baseball. Hope that Jacks can take down the Golden Eagles this weekend. Need to get a SWEEP to have a shot at the #1 seed for the Summit tourney. Centenary proved that they have at least one quality pitcher, so winning a 2 of 3 vs Gentlemen will generally come down to winning the other two games. What is the format for the Summit Championship series?
