Theilbar is with the wrong Brewers rookie club. If he was with Helena they would play in Billings. Damn!

Wow, Thielbar is really racking up the K's, looks like he's had some bad luck with his high ERA.

Good luck to all of these guys. I was never a great baseball player but once in a while it hits me that these guys are playing out a dream in professional baseball and as long as they are in an organization they are working for a chance to be a major leaguer. We could use some former Jackrabbits in the big leagues.

Read this article in the Argus today. Excellent exposure for our baseball program. Great experience for some of the returning Jacks as well.

Caleb is pitching really well in the minors.

                    Caleb Thielbar
                    5-1, 2.04 ERA, 11 games with 2 starts, 35 Innings Pitched with 36 K's and 5 BB's.

Craig Parry is only batting .176 with the Pirates minor league affiliate and Korby Mintken is batting .223

He is putting up GREAT numbers. He will definately get a shot at a higher level next year....or maybe even this year yet.

I doubt they'll move him up this year unless of necessity.... probably starts off in low A next year maybe even high A depending on if lefty relieve is a need position in the organization...

In general teams don't move anybody below high A after mid July unless of injury....

Caleb Thielbar has been moved up to Helena of the Pioneer League. This will give a couple more outings since the Arizona League season is now over.

If anyone is as confused about the hierarchy of Minor League Baseball as I am, here is a link to the Wiki explaination of all of it. Looks as if Caleb is now in the highest level of short season ball offered in the Brewers organization. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minor_l...classification
