Would have been interesting to see what would have happened if they would have gotten the whole tournament in.

Congratulations to the Jacks golf team...err thanks UWMandSDSU (I had just finished reading the story on Coach Hanson and his medical scare. It's tough to grow old and let your mind wander!)

I think this thread is about the Golf team finishing 5th, not the tennis team.

No Worries Jacks#1Fan, I am just here to help!!

It would have also been interesting to see what would have happened had the Jacks not had to play 6 holes Monday morning in a downpour before the cancelled 36 holes of play. Unfortunately league rules required the resumption of that round on Tuesday instead of cancelling it and starting over. SDSU had to play 5-7 holes in heavy rains on Monday while the teams that finished in the top-3 only played 1-2 holes.

Not much you can do though. It is just the luck of the draw as far as the tee times went as like any other golf tournament. Unfortunately it didn't go SDSU's way.

Let's hope luck is on the side of the men this coming Mon/Tues. They are the best ranked team going into the tournament and therefore have a chance of earning an automatic bid into the NCAA postseason.
